India: Procurement from GeM portal to save taxpayers’ money: Nirmala Sitharaman

11 July, 2017: Use of government's e-market (GeM) portal by central and state departments for procurement of goods and services will help in saving taxpayers' money, Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said today. The central and state governments procure goods and services worth over Rs 5 lakh crore annually, she said.
